The number of people knowing the basic idea of Service Design is growing. However, too many of us might feel shy and inadequate when confronting such a powerful idea of designing “inmaterial” things.
We should not feel so intimidated! It has been eye-opening to notice that many of us do service design activities – at least in some level. We just call it differently or we do not even have a name for the activity. We are not entirely on unknown ground.
After one week of GRIT Service Design training, the participants were motivated and empowered but still a bit overwhelmed with the possibilities Service Design as a discipline offers for developing anything, interaction among people included. Now, we all understand: “Service” can be designed.
